Anti-aging
As light therapy stimulates optimum cell functioning, collagen production, as well as strengthening collagen bands, Photizo will aid in anti-aging treatments.
Always treat after cleansing and before commencing with topical treatments such as creams, oils, ointments, or lotions. Light therapy will enhance the uptake of nutrients by cells. Treatment with this protocol will result in softening of deep lines, folds and wrinkles. The skin will be healthier, have optimum moisture and radiance. Skin repair will be accelerated, optimum nutrient uptake, increased blood circulation will result in better skin tone and youthful appearance.
Deep Tissues
This protocol includes all treatments for deeper lying tissues, e.g. muscles, veins, joints and tendons
Examples of conditions that can be treated with this protocol:
Before all massage techniques, such as deep massage, Indian, hot stone, effleurage, and sport massage, etc.
Muscle spasms, bruisings and pain
Painful joints and arthritis
Shin splints, tendonitis and fibromyalgia
Trigger, reflexology pressure- and acupuncture points
Colic (baby relaxation)
Burger’s disease and Reynaud’s disease (microvascular dysfunction)
Varicose veins
Sinusitis
Deep bruising or hematomas, e.g. after plastic surgery, such as: Liposuction, liposculpture, tummy tucks, breast reductions, breast augmentations and all other deep bruising after implants.
Venous deficiency: Treat all the surfaces of the affected areas, e.g. lower extremities.
Tension headache and migraine: treat over the first vertebrae directly under the skull, temples, and tender muscles around the skull and vertebrae.
Nervous system: Prevention and treatment of nerve damage of extremities. Especially useful in diabetics and venous deficient patients. May result in the restoration of peripheral nervous tissue.
Detoxification
Light therapy has been shown to help with clearingof toxins, and the stimulation of the immune system. The lymphatic vessel diameter also doubles after treatment with light therapy.
This protocol is optimized for the use in detoxification, immune stimulation and lymph draining.
Use this protocol to treat:
Cellulite treatments
Poor blood circulation
Spider veins
Edema
Poor lymph drainage
Swollen lymph nodes
Burning hands and feet
Immune stimulation and blood irradiation
Infection
Use this protocol to treat infectious conditions. You can also treat the proximal lymph nodes to stimulate the immune system. In most circumstances at least 10-15 treatments will be necessary to clear a stubborn infection.
Conditions treatable:
Acne
Fungal infestations, e.g. Tinea Pedis (athlete´s foot), Tinea unguium, Tinea Capitis, Tinea Barbers, nail funghi and Candida Albicans (nail)
Viral infestations, e.g. Common warts, Verucca Plantaris/plana, Herpes Simplex/cold sores, Herpes Zoster/Shingles (also treat post-herpetic neuralgia - a painful condition following shingles)
Bacterial infestations, e.g. boils, feruncle, carbuncle, cellulitis, folliculitis, impetigo (epidermis)
Swimmer´s ear
Inflammation
This protocol is ideally suitable for use before painful or uncomfortable procedures such as waxing, skin peeling, permanent make-up etc. As light therapy has a pain relieving (endorphin) and relaxing (serotonin) effect treatment before such procedures will ensure less pain discomfort. Another advantage is: As light therapy ensures cell repair (damaged cells will regain optimum functioning thus ensuring ultimate recovery time), the cell will be in optimum condition to handle bruising, that means that less necrosis of injured cells will take place. In addition, less scar tissue is formed.
Use before or directly after the following:
Permanent make-up
Hair removal (waxing, plucking, laser etc), where skin bruising can occur
Skin peeling (chemical, machanical) and skin resurfacing procedures
Botox or other injections
Microdermabrasion, NeoStrata Peels
Plastic surgery: ablative or non-ablative, face lifts, rhinoplasty, blepharoplasty, sclerotherapy and otoplasy etc.
Drainage and surgical excision of cysts
Other superficial bruising/skin bruising/abrasions
Cuts, superficial burns, blisters, insect bites, cracked heels/skin
Eczema, superficial oedema, sunburn
Skin redness (inflamed skin)
Psoriasis, keloids
Keratination
Use this protocol for the following conditions:
Alopecia
Grey hair, fine hair
Thinning or hair loss (pathological conditions)
Piyriasis capitis (dandruff)
Seborrhoea (exceessive sebaceous secretion)
Nail disorders: Thin nail plate, brittleness, corrugations, Leuconyhia (white spots), poor nail growth, etc.
