A specialist Photizo® unit for use by clinicians, general practitioners, plastic surgeons, in wound care clinics, hospitals, diabetes clinics, and gerontology units. Use the Photizo® Clinical 643 unit in the practice, clinic or hospital for post-operative wound care, acute wounds, chronic wounds (especially for chronic venous ulcers in diabetic patients or patients with venous insufficiency or impaired microcirculation), vasculitis, failed skin flaps or grafts, septic wounds, large and small burn wounds, and to relieve joint and muscle pain. Especially useful in treating bed sores, oral mucositis, and other conditions associated with immune compromised patients, chemotherapy patients, and frail-care patients.

For treating larger areas optional high-power 600mW and 1200mW probes as well as a stand are available as assesories for this unit.

The Clinical Unit includes carry case, 150 mW small probe, batteries, battery charger inside of the unit and cable to battery charger. Other accessories (additional products for Photizo users) available for order is larger probes – a 600 mW probe and a 1 200 mW probe, hip pouch, probe pouch, stand, external battery pack that enables the user to use the 600 mW probe whilst away from mains power, fiberoptic/glass rods for internal treatment, store case for marine use

0-21 Day Wound

Wounds that can be treated with this protocol include:
All acute wounds, including cuts, scratches, scrapes, blisters, surgical wounds, burns, bedsores, superficial bruising, lip wounds, mosquito- and other insect bites (reduces swelling and itching), contact dermatitis and dermatitis following radiation (cancer treatment), skin grafts and nipple irritation during breastfeeding.

Suitable for treatment immediately post-operatively, as well as follow-up or step-down wound care.


21+ Day Wound

Wounds that can be treated with this protocol include:
Most chronic wounds (21 days and older), infected wounds (ALWAYS - in combination with antibiotics), ulcers (diabetic and venous), superficial bruises, bed sores/pressure wounds, hemorrhoids (protruding), eczema, psoriasis, blemishes, skin coarseness, scleroderma, sunburnt skin.


Swelling

Use this protocol to treat:

Seromas, skin hematomas, cellulites, general swelling (including post-operative swelling), lymph edema, lymphatic damage, mastitis, post traumatic swelling, inflammation, vacuities, swelling in the ear canal.


Tissue Trauma

Suitable for most tissue injuries, including injuries to bone, muscles, ligaments, tendons, fascia, cartilage and nerve tissues.
Automatic, sensory and motor nerve damage due to pathology, especially in diabetic patients, is the major cause, for example, ulcers, hypertrophic nails and skin breaks. Daily treatment of extremities will prevent this damage. If nerve damage/neuropathy already exist light therapy may assist with the regeneration of nerve and vascular tissue, with prolonged daily treatment.

Nervous system: Prevention and treatment of nerve damage of extremities. Especially useful in diabetics and venous deficient patients. 

Venous deficiency: daily treatment over a long period will stimulate the formation of new capillaries.

Infection

Treatable conditions include conditions that involve an infection process: e.g. certain bacterial, viral, and fungal infections.

NOTE: When infection is present, also treat the proximal lymph nodes, to stimulate the immune response. 

Use for:
Cold sores (on lips, genitalia or inside mouth)
Shingles. Especially useful to relieve painful post-herpetic neuralgia that can follow shingles 
Acne
Boils
Tooth abscesses
Cysts (inflamed or seborrhoiec)
Warts (better results obtained in children)
Osteoitis/bone infection
Peri-anal abscesses
Genitalia infections, and vaginitis
Bell’s palsy
Swimmers/tropical ear,
Tinnitus (good results have been obtained with certain types of tinnitus) and vertigo.
Athlete’s foot
Fungal infections of the skin and nails.
