My name is Hanna Pettersson, I am 40 years old and have been working as an equine massage therapist for almost 10 years. I graduated in 2016 from ATS in Skåne and have since continuously further educated myself in deep wave treatment, laser therapy, deep tissue massage, lymphatic massage, and kinesiology taping for horses.

My interest in the well-being of horses began when my horse at the time was injured during a turnout and never quite returned to her old self. Even though no faults could be found, I felt in my heart that something wasn't right. I therefore chose to take matters into my own hands and enrolled in a one-year training program to become an equine massage therapist. Thanks to that horse, I now have the best job in the world.

Over the years, I have developed a great interest in individualizing each treatment based on the horse I meet. No two horses are alike, and therefore it is important for me to be able to tailor the treatment to the horse's needs to achieve the best possible results.

Today, I primarily use Photizo Professional LED light therapy/LED-LLLT in my work, but Photizo Vetcare and Led Treatment Pad PEMF also accompany me to clients. Photizo Vetcare was one of the first devices I invested in to work more efficiently and give horses even better conditions for recovery and well-being.

During my years as a therapist, I have seen very good results with LED light therapy. When dealing with inflammation problems in the back, I have often found that horses respond very well to the treatment, and in many cases, clear improvements have been seen after just one to two treatments. I also appreciate that the treatment is quiet and calm, which makes it particularly valuable for horses that are sensitive to touch. When the horse starts to relax its muscles, it often also becomes more receptive to other treatments, such as massage.

In addition to my treatment work, I hold courses in massage, rehabilitation, and horsemanship. I love to share knowledge and see both horses and people develop together. On my social media, I also enjoy sharing free tips and advice on rehabilitation, training, and horse well-being.

Together with Modellight, I have had the opportunity to follow the company's journey for many years. I have used the products in my daily work and seen the difference they have made for many of the horses I have treated. Therefore, I am also a very proud ambassador for Modellight.
