Powerful Treatment Pad for Dogs with Red & Near-Infrared LED Light, 60 Double-Chip Diodes (650 nm & 850 nm), and PEMF (Pulsed Electromagnetic Field) for Deeper Tissue Reach
The PharmaLight LED Treatment Pad PEMF Canine combines two well-established technologies – LED light therapy and PEMF (pulsed electromagnetic field) – to gently support your dog’s natural recovery processes. The product is designed as a complementary tool for relaxation, preventive care, and post-activity support.
It can be easily and comfortably applied to multiple areas of your dog’s body. Its flexible and unique design allows for treatment of large or small areas with a single pad.
PEMF and LED Light Therapy
The PharmaLight LED Treatment Pad PEMF Canine combines LED light therapy and PEMF in one device to create a more comprehensive treatment for dogs.
PEMF uses pulsed electromagnetic fields that interact with cells and tissues at various depths. LED light in red and near-infrared wavelengths primarily affects superficial and mid-level tissues. Together, these technologies complement each other by working at different levels within the body. When both technologies are used simultaneously, they create a “dual-action” treatment.
Both PEMF and LED light therapy have been studied in human and veterinary applications. Research indicates they have the potential to influence cellular activity, circulation, and tissue processes, making them popular tools in canine wellness and recovery routines.
Usage
The pad is easy to place on the desired area and works independently, allowing your dog to relax during the treatment. Each program lasts 15 minutes and shuts off automatically when completed. The flexible design allows the pad to be positioned comfortably on various areas such as shoulders, back, hips, legs, or joints, providing convenient use for dogs of different sizes and breeds.
The unit comes with a detachable power cord, 2 elastic Velcro straps, 2 extra Velcro straps, charging cables, a USB charger, and a storage bag. A complimentary service desk is included, offering tips and guidance based on over 20 years of experience in LED light therapy/LLLT.
We are a Swedish company, and the product ships from our warehouse in southern Sweden.
Long-Term Use
Like LED light therapy, low-intensity PEMF is considered safe for extended use in dogs, making it suitable for inclusion in daily or weekly treatment routines without risk of overstimulation. Using low-intensity PEMF alongside LED light allows for a deeper and more sustained effect.
Both PEMF and LED light therapy have been thoroughly researched. PEMF has been studied for several decades and is well-established in veterinary applications, particularly for bone healing, musculoskeletal issues, arthritis, and pain management in animals. Many studies show positive outcomes, especially in the treatment of fractures, tendon and joint problems, and inflammation regulation.
LED light therapy is also well-studied, especially over the last 20 years. In the past decade, research on photobiomodulation has expanded significantly, with approximately 10,000 studies published. These studies show that red and near-infrared light may influence cellular activity, increase ATP production, support tissue processes, improve circulation, and influence inflammatory responses in both humans and animals.
“When I developed the LED Treatment Pad PEMF, my goal was to create a product that combined red and infrared light with pulsed electromagnetic field therapy (PEMF). By bringing these two treatment methods together, you get a dual-action therapy that works on three different tissue depths at the same time. It took time to fine-tune the exact pulsation sequences I wanted for the advanced pre-programmed treatment program.
I also didn’t want my customers to have to buy several different pads just to treat different areas of the body – that would simply be too expensive for them. That’s why I created the unique design that makes it possible to treat the entire body – horse, dog, or human – with one and the same pad. It took time to design it, but in the end, I made it work!”
