Born and raised in Belgium and now based in Wales, my life revolves around sheep, dogs, and the constant pursuit of improvement. At home I work livestock on farms and in the hills, while training and competing with my border collies at both national and international level. I placed 3rd at Americas most prestigious sheepdog trial in North America called Soldier Hollow, 1st and 2nd at Phantom Ridge Sheepdog trial in Canada, Welch national brace champion, winner of the Dutch Open wich is one of the most prestigious trials in Europe, and many more. 

My greatest passion is developing real working dogs into confident and capable trial dogs. No dogs are the same, and understanding how to bring out the best in each individual is what continues to motivate me. Alongside competing, I also teach handlers through clinics, workshops, and online education, working with people and dogs from many different countries and backgrounds.

Because my dogs work hard throughout the year, their recovery and long-term wellbeing are just as important to me as their training. Whether we’re at home, travelling, competing, or spending long days working sheep, I want them to feel and perform at their best. (And sometimes I actually take care of my own bad knees and back too)

That’s why Modellight has become an important part of our routine. I regularly use both the PEMF Pad and the Vetcare LED device as part of my dogs recovery and maintenance program, particularly during periods of intensive training, competition, and travel. What I appreciate most is how easy the products are to incorporate into everyday life while helping me support dogs that work hard and always do their best for me.
