Photizo Sport is a hand-held, rechargeable and efficient LED light therapy device that emits red and infrared light at specific wavelengths and frequencies to activate the body's own healing abilities and increase circulation.

Photizo Sport is easy to use. The pre-programmed treatment program starts with just one push of a button and provides an effective treatment dose in 32 seconds. The device weighs only 280 grams and is ergonomically designed for smooth treatment.

Photizo Sport is specially adapted to suit a wide range of uses and can have a softening effect and reduce stiffness and soreness in the case of swelling and inflammation, as well as facilitate faster healing and rehabilitation in the event of injuries. Examples of common areas of use are: Inflammations, sports injuries, overexertion, runner's knee, tennis and golfer's elbow, tense muscles, swelling and wounds.

LED light treatment stimulates the production of ATP in the mitochondrion.
Mitochondria have an important role in metabolism, they produce adenosine triphosphate (ATP). ATP is used as an energy source in most processes in the cells. Without ATP, cell functions cease. Increasing ATP production can make it easier for the cells to absorb nutrients more quickly and turn waste products into waste products. ATP provides the cells with the chemical energy that drives chemical reactions in the cells. ATP production is increased by LED light therapy because light at optimal wavelengths energizes the cytochrome b structure - so it can donate more electrons to the electron transport chain to increase ATP production.

LED light therapy reverses the cell death process and ensures cell repair.
After an injury, the cell quickly reaches a state where cell death is inevitable. If treated with LED light therapy immediately after the injury occurs, this process can be reversed by increasing ATP production.

Edema consists of two basically two components; a part with fluid that can be evacuated through the blood system and a proteinaceous component consisting of proteins that must be evacuated through the lymphatic system. Research has shown that the vessel diameter of the lymphatic system and the flow in the lymphatic system can be doubled with LED light treatment. Venous and arterial diameters may also increase. This means that both components of the edema can be drained more quickly to reduce swelling.

Increased activity in the immune system
Near-infrared light has been shown to increase immune system function. The exact mechanism by which this occurs has not been clarified, but several studies have shown a systemic effect in patients where LED light therapy was used. This means that local treatment of a wound with LED light therapy generally increases the effect of the immune system.

LED light therapy increases blood supply
Increases blood supply to areas by stimulating the formation of new capillaries and blood vessels to replace damaged ones. This speeds up the healing process by providing the cells with more oxygen and nutrients needed to heal the damaged cells. It also speeds up the removal of the waste products from the damaged area.
